McDonnell Douglas F-15A Eagle, 1st Tactical Fighter Wing, Langley AFB, Virginia, with a clear advantage over an opposing MiG-23 Flogger.

Artist's Note: The caption reflects the 1980 time frame. The Boeing F-15 Eagle was the air dominance fighter with the US Air Force during Operation Desert Storm. The aircraft has never been defeated in air combat.
