A
small, expendable launch vehicle is propelled from the launch pad by a
CASTOR 120® rocket motor. The versatile, 117,000 pound CASTOR 120
motor by Thiokol Propulsion, can be used as a first stage or upper stage
motor, or as a strap-on booster for various vehicle configurations. This
new generation of rocket motors builds upon the history of reliability
and performance demonstrated by Thiokol Propulsion's Castor and STAR motors.
