McDonnell Douglas F-4G Phantom II "Wild Weasels" of the 37th TFW, George AFB, California attack enemy antiaircraft sites in hypothetical combat. The F-4G has the special role of suppressing enemy ground-based air defenses. The Weasels are the first in and last out of the target area, flying one of the USAF's most dangerous and demanding missions.

Artist's Note: The caption reflects the 1986 time frame. Wearing an overall gray camouflage the F-4G saw combat in Operation Desert Storm in 1991. The USAF's Wild Weasel role has since been assumed by the F-16 CJ/CG.
