LUU-4B Search and Rescue Flare

The LUU-4B is an aircraft-deployed search and rescue flare. The flare is used aboard a variety of U. S. military aircraft. A longer burning version, the LUU-2B/B Illumination Flare is used by over 30 foreign countries for aircraft-deployed illumination.
